A note on the current law
Electronic records are now governed by Section 63 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 — which replaced Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 with effect from 1 July 2024. Certificates and admissibility arguments prepared today should be grounded in the BSA framework.
- Certificates drafted against the BSA framework
- Chain-of-custody documentation for filings
- Hash verification for integrity arguments
- Independent review of opposing electronic evidence
Questions advocates ask
Straight answers about how the support works.
The work combines forensic examination with legal context. Every analysis is framed around what Indian courts require — admissibility under Section 63 BSA, 2023, chain of custody, and how findings will be used in filings and hearings. You get technical findings in a legally usable form.
